Job Summary:
The Individual Giving Intern will work with the Development Team and directly assist the Individual Giving Officer with various tasks such as data entry and analysis, donor prospect research, creating donor profiles, assisting with donor cultivation event planning, strategizing for online and direct mail campaigns, and research for miscellaneous projects.Schedule can be flexible, but must be able to commit to 20 hours a week (or more) during normal business hours. The intern will receive a metrocard and $10 a day for lunch.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, & Raiser’s Edge and have an interest in non-profits & fundraising. In addition, candidates must be Internet savvy, have good clerical skills, and pay excellent attention to detail. Strong writing skills is preferred.Application Instructions:
