Elaine Niefeld



Elaine NiefeldAssociate Director, Education Programs

Elaine Niefeld is associate director of education programs at the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD). She is the project manager for RTINetwork.org, responsible for content development for the site. Before joining NCLD, Elaine was the director of publications for the International Dyslexia Association.

A publishing professional with over 15 years’ experience, Elaine previously served as editorial director and then Publisher for Brookes Publishing Co., an independent publisher of resources for human service professionals working in education and disability-related fields. Prior to joining Brookes Publishing, she worked for the Johns Hopkins University Press.

Elaine earned a B.A. degree from Goucher College. She has a master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland.
