Program Coordinator, Development
Franco Pedicini serves as program coordinator for the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD). His efforts ensure that goals specified for new and ongoing programs and projects related to core departmental activities are accomplished in accordance with established priorities and time limitations. The outcome is truly satisfying—helping to sustain long-term, productive partnerships that will help NCLD improve student achievement.Prior to joining the NCLD team, Franco spent three years as a graduate education advisor for Kaplan and has particular experience in helping students faced with extreme economic hardship achieve their career goals. He has also worked for Borders Group, promoting new children’s, young adult books, and educational tools, and tutored international students in ESL.
Franco earned his B.A. from Stony Brook University, double majoring in English and Theatre.
