Happy Holidays from NCLD!

Written December 17, 2015

Dear Friends,

Thank you for being a part of the NCLD family—I’m tremendously proud of all that we have accomplished together in 2015.

In its first year, has provided support and access to expert advice to over 9 million parents, teachers and other individuals online. NCLD’s advocacy work in Washington, DC advances equal rights and opportunities in real and meaningful ways, including pushing for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which was signed into law just last week.

We’re also continuing to transform school environments in districts across the country. We’ve made widely available our new Student Voices study—focusing on the needs of young adults with learning and attention issues as they transition from high school into college and the workforce. You can read more about our recent accomplishments in NCLD’s November/December Impact Update.

All of us at NCLD look forward to working with you in 2016 and beyond. Together, we can create a society in which every individual possesses the academic, social and emotional skills needed to succeed in school, at work and in life.

With my best wishes for the holiday season and a wonderful New Year!

Warm regards,
