LD News for Parents

Dear Friend,

Many of you have asked for advice on helping your teen with LD find a summer job that's both meaningful and manageable. This issue includes practical articles to share with your teen. Having a summer job that's "just the right fit" may greatly enhance your teen's education and self-awareness. Another topic readers have asked us to address is dyscalculia (an LD in math). In the articles below, two experts explain what we know — and what research is teaching us — about this type of LD.

Thank you for your requests and feedback, it helps us stay in touch with what real-life parents need to help their children with LD!
Sincerely,
The NCLD Team
