Are You Ready for New LD Resources?

LD ResourcesFor those of you who’ve signed up to receive our popular LD newsletters, you’re probably aware of all the helpful new resources we’ve been creating for our community lately. (If you haven’t signed up to receive LD.org emails yet, there’s no better time than the present! Let us keep you posted on tools, videos, and other content tailored just for you.) One new resource we’re especially proud of is the new “Getting a Job 101” e-book. In it, you’ll find tips for:

  • teens who are just beginning to conceptualize what career path they might take
  • young adults with LD whose careers are just revving up
  • professionals who are between jobs and/or looking to freshen up their approach to the job search

We also have another fantastic resource in the works and coming (very) soon: an e-book that features the most frequently asked and thought-provoking questions posed to us by you, the LD community. This e-book will include questions about:

  • how to deal with the “LD” label
  • how to communicate with your child’s school
  • how to advocate for your child, including tips on parent involvement in a child’s IEP
  • how giftedness, AD/HD, and other related issues intersect with learning disabilities

Be on the lookout for this essential resource for all parents of children with LD. And if you haven’t already, sign up for email updates so that you’ll be the first to receive it. Consider it a gift for the end of the holiday season!
