NCLD to Launch Online Parent Center
On April 25 NCLD will launch an exciting new resource for parents of children with learning disabilities. NCLD's new Online Parent Center will provide parents with the tools and up-to-date information needed to be effective advocates for your children. Parents will be able to ensure their children receive the services and support they need in order to succeed at school.

Response to Intervention: What Parents Need to Know about This Approach to Identifying Students Most At-Risk for LD
April's LDTalk focused on Response-to-Intervention (RTI) --an approach to identifying students at risk for learning disabilities -- which has been used successfully in states and school districts nationwide. Dr. Judy Elliott, a member of NCLD’s Professional Advisory Board and Assistant Superintendent in the Office of School Support Services, including special education, in the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) in Long Beach, CA, led this online chat.
