About the Issue
The House of Representatives is working to preserve funding for Striving Readers, a critical literacy program that will help millions of students with LD.
Striving Readers is the only targeted federal literacy funding for birth through grade 12 teacher professional development and research-based interventions for students who cannot read and write well enough to progress in school through graduation.
Time is running out and your action is urgently needed to support the funding of $183 million to this vital literacy program.
