Representative Pete Stark (CA-13) and Representative Bill Cassidy (LA-06) have formed a Congressional Dyslexia Caucus. They formed the Congressional Dyslexia Caucus to work across party lines to educate members and the public about dyslexia. In addition, they hope to identify policies that will support individuals as they overcome dyslexia and pursue educational and career opportunities.  They sent this letter — “Join the Bipartisan Congressional Dyslexia Caucus ”  — in order to encourage Representatives to join the Caucus.

Caucus Event on May 8th

The Congressional Dyslexia Caucus Co-Chairs Rep. Bill Cassidy and Rep. Pete Stark and The Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity are hosting a movie screening of The D Word: Understanding Dyslexia on May 8, 2012, with a reception to follow. The movie will take place in Room 2123 of the Rayburn House of Representatives Building in Washington, DC. This invitation is open to the public, but space is limited. Please RSVP if you would like to attend.
