
We’re happy to give you a preview of our brand-new website! Over the last few years we’ve been listening to our audience – you! – and we’ve been working hard to make improvements to our site: better functionality, more information, new features. We thank you for participating in our surveys and focus groups, and for sharing your comments on our article pages, on our Facebook page, and in emails. Highlights of the new site:
- Streamlined navigation – makes it easier and faster for you to find what you need
- New stage- and age-related sections – allow you to tailor your site experience according to where you or your child is on the “LD journey”
- More information – 100 pieces of new content, including videos, short tips articles, and in-depth, informative articles, and an FAQs section to better meet the needs of our users
- Improved accessibility – all articles are now equipped with Readspeaker (which converts text to speech) and font enlarger technology to better address the needs of individuals with LD
- Enhanced community engagement – social sharing and “like” buttons are included throughout the site, allowing you to better communicate with other members of the LD community
- A new “Get Involved” section and easy access to our redesigned “Action Alert” center – enables you to take part in our policy work and work for meaningful change
- An “LD in the News” section – helps you stay up to date on the latest LD research and stories
