Students with LD who leave high school and enter the workforce need to remember that:

	LD is not something to hide or be ashamed of
	Disclosing LD will be necessary to get needed accommodations
	Co-workers, supervisors and bosses may not have accurate information about LD and may attribute any struggles you experience are due to sloppiness or lack of effort
	While there is no “IEP” at work, you have rights and protections under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
	All of the above
