Dr. Joseph K. Torgesen is professor of psychology and education at Florida State University and director of the Florida Center for Reading Research. He is author of roughly 170 research articles and several books, including A Basic Guide to Understanding, Assessing, and Teaching Phonological Awareness. He is a member of NCLD's professional advisory board. Thanks for being with us today, Dr. Torgesen.
