This Parent's Perspective features Anne from Colorado. As the parent of a child with dyslexia she often felt as though she was "on her own." Once she started talking to other parents, she realized that she was one of many parents who faced challenges when working within the school system.Once Anne began "comparing notes" with other parents — they became each other's support system — in turn making them better advocates for their children and other dyslexic students in the community.
