Alan D. Pesky

Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Lee Pesky Learning Center in Boise, Idaho. The Center established in 1997 has grown to be the only full service facility of it’s kind in Idaho and the four neighboring states serving those with Special Education needs. The Center is also involved with teacher education and has recently collaborated with Boise State University on the development of a Masters in Teaching Degree program.

Formerly was President of Scali, McCabe, Sloves International an advertising agency he helped found and grow to be the 25th largest in the country.

He is currently an Emeritus Trustee of Lafayette College and a former Overseer (Trustee) of The Tuck School of Dartmouth College where he has been an Executive-in-Residence and guest lecturer since 1999.

He previously served as chairman of the following not for profit organizations: Coalition to Free Soviet Jews, Alternatives for Community and Environment, UJA for the Advertising and Communications Industry, The Brain Tumor Foundation (Vice Chair). He has also served as a board member of numerous other organizations including The Environmental Defense Fund, New Cannan Country School, The Community School (Sun Valley, Idaho).

He is a graduate of Lafayette College, B.A and of The Tuck School, MBA.
