Cassia Schifter

Cassia Schifter currently serves on the Board of Directors of NCLD. She grew up in an LD household and also struggles with her own learning and attention issues. After graduating from Amherst College, she pursued a career in Fashion Marketing, working as an assistant stylist and Men’s Stills coordinator for J. Crew. However, after a few years she decided to follow her passion and enter the Food and Wine industry. She received her Master Cheese Certification and spent a year and a half working for Murray’s Cheese, both in their caves and at their Grand Central Terminal location. She graduated second in her class at The International Culinary Center’s Intensive Sommelier Program and qualified as a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She now works as the National Head of Sales and Marketing for Loca Linda Wines.
