Denise Tilles

Director of Product for the National Center for Learning Disabilities

Prior to joining NCLD, Denise led product at Cision for 4 years, a global public relations software company. Most of her background is in digital media, having spent 9 years in product at Conde Nast, working with brands like The New Yorker and Vanity Fair. She was named innovator of the year for her work with the team that built The New Yorker’s Goings On about Town mobile app. She also led family lifestyle websites for Meredith Corporation, including Better Homes & Gardens.
Denise was an Understood user before working here. Her daughter has learning and attention issues, which led Denise and her husband to become advocates for other students with learning disabilities at their local public school. They advocated the PTO for more resourcing to support related services providers, as well as creating a Learning Differences Parent Committee.

Denise resides in Brooklyn with her husband, Douglas, and their teenage daughters Leigh and Honor.
