Matt Lurrie

Field Manager, Understood

Matt Lurrie is the field manager for Understood’s mobilization team, a program of the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD). Prior to this role Matt served as an expert coordinator, where he was responsible for planning and executing daily expert events on Understood and ensuring expert review of all Understood content. Previously, he was the outreach and engagement assistant at NCLD.

Prior to joining NCLD, Matt was a program assistant at the American Association for Justice, where he was responsible for coordinating activities for nearly 130 litigation groups. He has also held positions with Congressman David Cicilline, the Warner Theater, and the Hillary Clinton for President campaign.

Matt earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
