Parent Support Coordinator

Vanessa Bertone is the parent support coordinator for the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD). She manages Understood’s Help Center by responding to user questions and concerns ranging from personal to technical issues. She also is the lead on conference and event strategies and occasionally moderates expert live chats.

Prior to joining NCLD, Vanessa was digital production coordination for Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street. There she managed Sesame brand content on multiple sources including YouTube and The Orchard. She also developed and implemented standards for online communications through ‘Contact Us’ and for customer support for Sesame Go.

Vanessa has a passion for green technology and leadership development. During her spare time she enjoys running and watching WWE Raw.
