Kathy Stratton

Kathy Stratton, founding member of the Decoding Dyslexia national grassroots dyslexia advocacy movement among others. Kathy is the mother of two children.  She has been a strong advocate for her eighteen year old twice-exceptional son who attends a public high school.  

Kathy has served as a trustee for the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children.  Currently, she is an active member of Decoding Dyslexia NJ.  She helped Decoding Dyslexia NJ organize a dyslexia conference and a trip to Capitol Hill to encourage New Jersey Congressmen to join the Bipartisan Dyslexia Caucus. Professionally, Kathy is a licensed psychologist and a NJ certified school psychologist.  She is employed by Rider University as a counselor at Westminster Choir College’s Counseling Center. She also maintains a part-time private practice as a psychologist.
