National Day of Action
February 26, 2019

Join Us for the #StandwithLD
National Day of Action!

We need every voice! Join us on February 26 for a #StandwithLD National Day of Action to advocate on behalf of students with learning disabilities and attention issues. 1 in 5 students have a learning disability or an attention issue, which are brain-based difficulties that include trouble with reading, writing, math, organization, concentration, listening comprehension, social skills, motor skills or a combination of these.

We are asking Congress to take an important step on behalf of the 1 in 5 by passing the RISE Act, which would help students in college access the accommodations they need. While young adult advocates are meeting with members of Congress in Washington DC, you can take action from wherever you may be. Send a letter today, tweet at your officials and learn more about this important piece of legislation below.
