NCLD’s Young Adult Leadership Council Member Presents at International Conference

Jessica McLaren, one of NCLD’s Young Adult Leadership Council members, presented at the Learning Disabilities Association of America’s 57th Annual International Conference.
Jessica spoke about her experience having a learning disability and ADHD, and the impact parents and educators have on individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities during the transition from high school to postsecondary education or career. Through her experiences, she discusses the value of parents and educators and how they helped her become an advocate.
